Loess Hills Garden Club learns about pollinator gardens

The Loess Hills Garden Club met at the home of Sherm and Melba Struble with 34 members and guests attending. Harrison County’s new naturalist, Maddie Whalen, presented a program on pollinator gardens.

The club meets monthly for meetings, educational programs or visits to members’ gardens and public gardens. Each spring, members fill more than 1,000 envelopes with locally harvested seeds to give away at the library. The club also holds an annual plant sale in May.

New members are welcome. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page.
