Bridge work to begin on County Highway L16 on Oct. 21

Panora Avenue bridge to close for repairs

Panora Avenue, also known as County Highway L16, is scheduled to close at the Willow Creek bridge from 7 a.m. Oct. 21 to 1 p.m. Oct. 26 for repairs, according to the Harrison County Road Department. The contractor needs to pour concrete through the bridge deck into new abutments to complete the project.

Most work has taken place beneath the bridge while traffic continued. The repairs are expected to correct deterioration and allow removal of a weight restriction imposed earlier this year.
